Simple Solution.


1 team plays a conference opponent and the game counts as a conference game for that team but not for the opponent. As a result one team will play a tenth conference game, but that game will count as a non-conference game for that team. Which means once every fifteen years each team will play a conference opponent as a non-conference game. Since it only happens once every 15 years for each team, I don't believe that would be a problem.
